Preview: Victoria at Seattle, Sunday 5pm Feb.15.2015

Victoria is looking for back to back wins after a 5-2 defeat of the Kamloops Blazers Saturday night.

Tyler Soy had 2 goals and an assist, Austin Carroll struck twice, while Joe Hicketts notched 3 helpers.  Justin Paulic made 30 saves to earn the win as the Royals outshot the Blazers 42-32.

Victoria had fallen 7-3 one night earlier in Kelowna.

Seattle is also playing 3 games in 3 nights, they defeated host Everett 3-2 in a shootout Saturday. Scott Eansor and Mathew Barzal scored in regulation. Barzal and Donovan Neuls scored in the shootout. Taran Kozun stopped 25 of 27 shots to get the win.  Everett did not score in the shootout.

The Thunderbirds have points in their last 3 games (2-0-0-1), and are looking for back to back wins.  Seattle sits just one point back of 4th place Victoria in the West.

Both teams have 7 wins in their past 10 games.
