Eligible for this year’s NHL Entry Draft, Nelson
became the first Royals’ player to participate in the NHL Draft Combine during

Before the 6’1”, 178 lb centre signed with Victoria on
August 27, 2011, he played one season for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL
where he tallied six goals and three assists for nine points over 41 games
played.
The 2012 United States National Junior Evaluation Camp
runs from August 4-11 in Lake Placid, NY at the Lake Placid Olympic Center. The
camp will consist of practices, intra-squad games and international games
against Finland and Sweden.
