Giants Acquire Crunk
Jul 15, 2015 - 12:53 PDTThe Vancouver Giants announced on Wednesday that the club has acquired forward Taylor Crunk off waivers from the Victoria Royals.
“We are excited to add a player like Taylor who has had some good playoff experience over the last few years,” said Giants Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Bonner. “He is a veteran leader who brings grit and toughness, and we believe he’ll be a great addition to our team.”
Crunk, a native of San Jacinto, California, has spent the last four seasons on Vancouver Island.
The 20-year-old had 10 goals and 4 assists in 71 games with the Royals during the 2014/15 season while also compiling 103 penalty minutes.
Crunk has played 28 career playoff games.
