Royals Season Schedule Announced




ROYALS ANNOUNCE 2015-16 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE
Victoria opens season at home on Friday, September 25th vs. Portland.

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce the team’s schedule for the 2015-16 Western Hockey League (WHL) regular season.

The Royals will open their fifth WHL season at home against the Portland Winterhawks on Friday, September 25th. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Victoria will have two separate six-game homestands next season that mark the longest home stretches for the club. The first set will begin on Friday, September 25th and conclude on Wednesday, October 7th. During that span, the team will host the Portland Winterhawks, Kamloops Blazers and Spokane Chiefs. The second homestand consists of visits from the Kelowna Rockets, Medicine Hat Tigers, Vancouver Giants and Lethbridge Hurricanes between Friday, January 15th and Friday, January 29th.

The Royals’ will embark on their longest road trip of the year early in the season when they swing through Saskatchewan and Manitoba for six games in nine days. The Eastern Division swing will start on Friday, October 30th against the Prince Albert Raiders. Victoria will also visit the Saskatoon Blades, Swift Current Broncos, Moose Jaw Warriors and Brandon Wheat Kings before wrapping up the trip on Saturday, November 7th vs. the Regina Pats.
