GARAGE SALE AND PUBLIC SKATE DURING 2015 TRAINING CAMP

garage sale and public skate to take place on Saturday, August 29th.

BC- The Victoria
Royals today announced that the club will host a garage sale and free public
skate on Saturday, August 29th as part of the team’s 2015 training
camp.
The garage
sale will take place at Gate 3, located at the back of the Save-On-Foods
Memorial Centre from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
The Royals
will have a variety of new and used equipment available for purchase at the
event including gloves and pants from $20 and sticks from $150 (limit of two
per customer). Partial proceeds from every item will go towards the Victoria
Royals Education and Scholarship Fund. The Royals Team Store will also be open
and offering a selection of new and on-sale merchandise.
The public skate is free of charge and will take place
from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Any fans wanting to skate are encouraged to bring their
own skates and helmets, but can rent by donation from the Save-On-Foods
Memorial Centre Skate Shop.
Pizzeria Prima Strada will also be on hand in the back
parking lot of the arena, located across from Gate 3, and will have food and
beverage available to purchase for those in attendance.
Fans
attending the garage sale will have the opportunity to check out sightlines and
seat availability for season ticket packages and the recently-released Five
Game Fan Pack. The mini-pack allows fans to experience five popular home games
including the Home Opener, Turn Back the Clock Night, Teddy Bear Toss, Pink in
the Rink and Fan Appreciation Night, starting from just $60.
Guests are
encouraged to arrive early and stay late to take in the Royals’ Rookie Camp.
There will be an opportunity to watch Victoria’s 2014 and 2015 WHL Bantam Draft
selections as they try to earn a spot in main camp. Game times are from
10:00-11:30 a.m. and 3:00-6:15 p.m. with admission free of charge.
