Prince George won their last home game, a 4-0 shut out over Everett, earning them a split against the Silvertips last weekend. The Cougars have just 1 win in their last 6, and are 1-3 since Mark Holick took over as head coach.
Victoria’s stretch of 9 straight games with a power play goal was halted Thursday in Kelowna, as did the point streaks of Alex Gogolev (9 games), Brandon Magee (9 games), Steven Hodges (8 games) and Brett Cote (5 games). Netminder Patrik Polivka’s franchise record 7 consecutive wins came to an end.
