1996-born goaltender from Kootenay.

BC- The Victoria
Royals are pleased to announce that the club has acquired goaltender Jayden
Sittler (1996) from the Kootenay Ice in exchange for a sixth round draft pick
in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
Sittler
joins the Royals after starting the 2014-15 season with the Fort McMurray Oil
Barons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). The 6-0, 184 lb netminder
has played in four games for the Oil Barons, posting a 2-2-0 record with a
goals against average (GAA) of 3.04 and a 0.903 save percentage (SV%).
The native
of Red Deer, AB played in one game for the Ice last season, making 17 saves for
the victory.
Sittler
spent the past two seasons with Red Deer Optimist Chiefs of the Alberta AAA
Midget Hockey League (AMHL). During the 2013-14 season, Sittler registered a
mark of 12-4-2 with a 2.03 GAA and a SV% of 0.913. In 2013 he was part of the
Chiefs team that captured the Telus Cup.
