ROYALS’ DUO INVITED TO TEAM WEST REGIONAL SUMMER CAMP
Victoria prospects Regan Nagy and Matthew Campese to take part in Team West Under-17 Regional Summer Camp.

Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals today announced that forwards Regan Nagy and Matthew Campese have been invited to attend the Team West Under-17 Regional Summer Camp in Portage la Prairie, MB.
The camp will bring together the best players under the age of 17 from Saskatchewan and Manitoba to for a five-day camp that will determine Team West’s roster for the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. The camp is scheduled to run August 7-11 in Portage la Prairie, MB while the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge will begin in late December in Cape Breton, NS.
Nagy appeared in five games for the Royals this past season, collecting two minutes in penalties. The Ogema, SK native spent the 2012-13 hockey season with the Moose Jaw Generals, where he registered 34 points (13g-21a) along with 70 penalty minutes.
The 5-11, 165lb winger also won a bronze medal with Team Saskatchewan at the 2012 Under-16 Western Canada Challenge Cup. Nagy was drafted 27th overall by Victoria in the 2012 Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft.
Campese skated in one game as a 15-year-old for the Royals last season. The 5-9, 172lb forward played with the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) Midget Prep team in 2012-13. With OHA, Campese finished second in team scoring after he notched 93 points (54g-39a) and 86 penalty minutes in 50 games.
The Prince Albert, SK resident was also part of the bronze medal-winning Team Saskatchewan at the 2012 Under-16 Western Canada Challenge Cup. Campese was selected by Victoria in the third round, 49th overall, in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.
