ROYALS ANNOUNCE 2013-14 TICKET ON-SALE DATES

Home-opener and pre-season tickets go on-sale August 29^th with pre-buy options available!

Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals today announced that single-game tickets to the team’s 2013 Home Opener and September 14^th home pre-season game will be available for purchase on August 29^th at 9:30 a.m. through the Select Your Tickets Box Office.

Tickets to these two events, as well as all Royals’ 2013-14 Western Hockey League (WHL) regular season home games, will be available to the public beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 29^th. Fans will have three options to purchase single game tickets; in-person at the Select Your Tickets Box Office by way of a random line policy, online at www.selectyourtickets.com or by phone at 250-220-7777.

Fans will also have the opportunity to beat the box office by taking advantage of the Royals’ pre-buy options! Home opener, pre-season and single-game tickets will be available at the Royals’ 2013 Intra-Squad Game on Wednesday, August 28^th at the Select Your Tickets windows located in the concourse of Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Victoria’s 2013 Intra-Squad Game will mark the completion of the club’s training camp with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and admission by donation at the door.

Royals’ season ticket holders will also be able to purchase their tickets to the Royals’ September 14^th pre-season game versus the Vancouver Giants beginning tomorrow, August 20^th, and running through to August 26^th. Puck drop for this game is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre while tickets will be available for just $5 with partial proceeds donated back to local charities.

Discounted single-game tickets, including the Royals’ 2013 Home Opener on September 21^st, will also be available for purchase on August 29^th for groups of 10 or more. Group rates start at just $12 per ticket and are available through the Royals’ Ticketing Office at 250-220-7889.
