ROYALS CAP OFF REGULAR SEASON WITH AWARDS CEREMONY
Brandon Magee takes home 2013-14 National Bank Financial Most Valuable Player award.

Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals’ record-breaking regular season was acknowledged at the 2013-14 Awards Ceremony on Sunday afternoon at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Cliff Lequesne, from 100.3 The Q!, hosted the event that saw the organization hand out 10 awards in total and celebrate the club’s record-setting 100-point regular season.

Brandon Magee was chosen as the team’s most valuable player as he took home the National Bank Financial MVP Award. 

The Edmonton, AB native also earned the Carl Latzel Pemberton Holmes Top Scorer award as he finished the season with 67 points (25g-42a) in 65 games played.

Joe Hicketts was presented with the Wilson’s Transportation Top Defenceman award.
Tyler Soy was named the Ron Neal Rookie of the Year.
Ryan Gagnon was named the winner of the Fisgard Scholastic Player of the Year award. 

The Telus Community Service award was given to Coleman Vollrath.

Logan Fisher was the recipient of the 2 Burley Men Hardest Worker award.
Steven Hodges earned the Connect Hearing Most Dedicated Player trophy.
Ben Walker took home two awards on the night as he was named the Coca-Cola Unsung Hero and earned The Keg Fans’ Choice award, which was chosen by a vote on www.victoriaroyals.com.
