Kamloops fell 7-3 to the visiting Regina Pats last night as Connor Gay had 3 goals and an assist, while Dryden Hunt had 5 helpers.
The Pats jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the game was 6 minutes old. Connor Ingram who started the last 5 games for the Blazers was relieved by Cole Kehler who then allowed 4 goals on 39 shots.
Kamloops is now winless in 3, dropping their last 2 straight. They have 2 wins in their past 10 (2-4-2-2) and with 27 points, the sit 3 back of Victoria in the West.
The Blazers fall to .500 at home with a 6-6 record, while the Royals are 6-10 on the road this season.
Kamloops is led in scoring by Team WHL’s Cole Ully with 35 points, including 23 assists. Ully has 7 points in the 3 games against Victoria this season (3g 4a). He’s tied for 5th in overall scoring.
