night.
Soy scored his 1st of 2 |

said Head Coach Dave Lowry,
“We stayed with our fundamentals, Soy hits two within
twenty seconds and took control of the game, and we elevated the pace.”
Victoria set a
few franchise records by winning their 49th of the season,12th
consecutive and setting the record for points in a season with 104. The club had already clinched the WHL regular
season championship Wednesday in Kelowna.
“You’ve got to give a lot of credit to our leadership
group, our veteran players…our young guys have come in and adjusted to the way
we play,” said Lowry,

it’s a shame that you give up a goal that late in the game.”

and Soy combined for 8 points.

“…and we have a bunch of guys that like to score goals.”
The Royals won their 7th in a row on the road,
and 24th overall, 2 shy of the record.
Victoria was 0
