TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE
Camp begins August 18th;
all on ice sessions open to the public.

The Victoria Royals today announced the schedule for their upcoming 2014 Draft,
Rookie and Main Camps set to take place at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre
beginning next week.
The
Royals will host a two-day Draft Camp beginning on Monday, August 18th
for players selected in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft by the club. Draft Camp
will be the first chance for fans to get a look at all nine of the Royals’ 2014
selections, including first round pick Scott Walford.
Rookie
Camp will span four days beginning on Wednesday, August 20th and
will consist of the Royals’ 2013 and 2014 draft classes, protected list players
and invited players born in 1998 and 1999. Participants will be divided into
four teams in a round robin format with games beginning Thursday, August 21st
and running through Saturday, August 24th.
Main
Camp will include all returning roster players from Victoria’s record-breaking
2013-14 season, invited players born between 1995 and 1997 as well as Draft and
Rookie Camp participants progressing through to Main Camp. On-ice sessions
during Main Camp will conclude with the Royals’ 2014 Intra-Squad Game on
Wednesday, August 27th. Puck drop for the annual Intra-Squad Game is
set for 7:05 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre where entrance will be by
donation.
The
Royals would like to welcome fans to all on-ice sessions at training camp.
