PICK IN DEAL WITH GIANTS

1994-born forward Trent Lofthouse to Vancouver.

Victoria,
BC – The
Victoria Royals today announced that the club has acquired an eighth round
draft pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft from the Vancouver Giants in exchange
for forward Trent Lofthouse (1994).
Victoria
sends Lofthouse to Vancouver after the Surrey, BC native was picked up by the
Royals in a trade with the Everett Silvertips last January. With Victoria,
Lofthouse registered six points (4g-2a) and six penalty minutes in 20 regular
season games as well as one assist in four playoff contests.
The Royals will complete a five-game home stand
tonight when they host the Prince George Cougars at Save-On-Foods Memorial
Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
