Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals
scored two markers in each of the first two periods to defeat the Spokane

team would never relinquish. Victoria’s Ethan Price capitalized on the powerplay, when
he tallied his first marker as a Royal. Dante Hannoun would round out the
scoring for the homeside. The Chiefs’ Keanu Yamamoto notched the only tally for
Spokane.

Chiefs’ goaltender Garret Hughson stopped 27 of 31 shots he faced.
On the extra man
advantage, the Royals went 1/2 = 50.0%, while the Chiefs were unable to
capitalize on any of their five powerplay opportunities.
