FOR TWO GAMES THIS WEEKEND

Prince George Cougars on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals return to action
at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre against the Prince George Cougars on Saturday
night and Sunday afternoon. Saturday’s game is Black Press Card Night,
while Sunday afternoon is Kirby’s Source for Sports’ Skate with the players
after the game.
MID-SEASON
REPORT: After 37
games played so far this season the Royals entered the Christmas break in fifth
place in the Western Conference with 37 points and a record of 17-17-2-1.
Victoria has also scored 121 goals which is good for third most in the West and
eighth in the WHL.
‘TIS THE
SEASON: This
weekend’s contests against the Cougars will see an influx of children and
families at the games. The Royals, with the help of School Districts 61, 62,
and 63 have donated over 25,000 free student coupons to all schools in the Greater
Victoria area. The coupons are valid for any student aged 14 and under and can
be used when redeemed with a paying adult at the Select Your Tickets
box-office. If your child didn’t receive their complimentary coupon please give
the Royals ticket office a call at 250-220-7889 to inquire about picking one
up.

Sports Skate with the players. Fans are encouraged to bring their own

the game. Proceeds go towards the BC Children’s Hospital.
