Tyler Thompson

The Victoria Royals recently signed 18-year-old forward Tyler Thompson to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement.

He's the older brother of Royals 3rd round pick in 2014 Baron Thompson.

I had an opportunity to speak with Tyler Tuesday after practice:


The 6-4, 191 lb, Thompson split the 2014-15 season with the Omaha AAA Lancers Under-18 team and the Minnesota Revolution Under-18 club of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL). The Lakeville, MN product collected 12 points (3g-9a) along with 54 penalty minutes in 22 games with the Lancers and Revolution.
